BIRTH OF A PC COMPUTER

In 1973 some of the first microcomputer kit developed by the 8008 chip and at the end of that year that Intel introduced their 8080 chip that is 10 times much faster than 8008 and has a memory of 64 KB.


In 1975, MITS (Micro Instrumentation and Telemetry Systems) of Albuquerque, New Mexico USA introduced the Altair kit through the magazine January 1975 issue of Electronic Polular. Altair kit is then regarded as the world's first PC.

These computers do not have a keyboard, screen or printer. That there is only a switch that can be used to enter a binary number and the LED that lights to indicate output.

In 1975 IBM introduced the Personal Computer (PC) first. Model 5100 has 16 MB of memory, built-in display 16 lines with 64 characters, Built-in BASIC interpreter and the DC-300 cartridge tape drive for data storage. PC usage is more widespread when Bill Gates and Paul Allen of Microsoft succeeded in developing an operating system of the BASIC language with a graphical display (GUI) "model mimics the Macintosh operating system" and managed to sell it for the IBM personal computer or PC products from other vendors.

In 1976 Apple Computer introduced the Apple I which sold for U.S. $ 666.66. Price is the absolute price chosen by the founder of Apple, Steve Jobs. The system consists of a circuit motherboard mounted on a piece of plywood. Chassis and power supply not included. Apple II, named "Lisa" as the name of the daughter of Steve Jobs, introduced in 1977, helping standard-setting, followed by all the important microcomputers after that time, including the IBM PC. 

Macintosh is the development of Apple computers, which is one type of Power PC-based PCs manufactured by Apple computers. Mac is the first computer to popularize the graphical user interface (GUI). Mac design is being imitated by Bill Gates during his visit to the company at the invitation of Apple Steve Jobs himself.
